About

Tong Fang is a calligrapher and artist, currently living and working in Shanghai and Beijing. She studies Art History and Theory (Design Management) at the Sino-French Institute of Arts and Design Management, Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Her practice centers on time and sensation, spanning calligraphy, moving image, and painting, with a focus on residual moments after events and embodied memory. By preserving states of incompletion in her works, she creates perceptual spaces through which viewers may enter personal memory.
